PHP Developer Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant work experience in business application development/implementation 
• Very strong in Core PHP (OOP, Exception handling) 
• 2+ years experience with Laravel
• Experience with REST API
• Experience with jQuery
• Good knowledge of MySQL, MongoDB, database indexing
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Experience implementing, customizing and/or integrating third-party applications within business enterprise software 
• Good knowledge on coding standards, design patterns, unit testing and feature testing 
• Understand software implementation lifecycle (e.g., analyze, design, build, test, implement, support)
• Experience with React is nice to have
• Experience with SASS is nice to have 
• Fluent in English language 
• Good time management and presentation skills 
• Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, assess feasibility, and determine technical solutions

Responsibilities

• Conducting analysis of web application requirements
• Writing back-end code and building efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
• Developing back-end portals with an optimized database
• Troubleshooting application and code issues
• Integrating data storage solutions
• Responding to integration requests from front-end developers
• Finalizing back-end features and testing web applications
• Updating and altering application features to enhance performance
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
• Integration of data storage solutions (may include databases, key-value stores, etc.)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements
